Luna Sundara's Chulucanas Pottery
The Story
Luna Sundara has been working closely with artisans from Chulucanas, Peru to create beautiful pieces of pottery in various styles. This method of creating pottery has been used by the people of Chulucanas for generations. It is a beautiful process that we hope to support by finding new styles that have practical uses. We currently are creating pieces that can be used as palo santo holders, incense holders and candles.
In the video here these beautiful pieces are made by Mr. Luis Humberto Sandoval in Chulucanas, Peru. When large orders are placed, the artisans work together in a community, they empower each other and work together to improve the economy in their town.
